SACAC: Horizon Award Student Scholarship 
The scholarship is a way to honor deserving students to help cover some of the costs of attending college
Must be a high school senior 
Fill out the online application and include an email address of a reference
Award will be given to 5 students and they'll nominate a counselor to receive a $1,000 award

The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program
Participants are presented with an academic speaking challenge 
Students will develop a deeper knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. constitution
Students will have an opportunity to compete at the district level and advance to both the state and national level
District Competition will be held February 2nd in Hueytown 
Must be a citizen or permanent resident
Must be under the age of 20
